Man in Makeup, Dress Arrested Outside Belleville Homecoming Dance
BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - A Pinckneyville, Illinois man has been charged with public indecency after allegedly performing lewd conduct outside a Belleville homecoming dance.
Officers who were working security at Belleville East High School Saturday night were told by students that a man wearing a pink dress and makeup was involved in lewd conduct inside his vehicle.
Police say they found Curtis Hutchings of Pinckneyville in his vehicle and fitting the description.
According to the officers, Hutchings did not have a legal reason to be on the property.
In a post on the Belleville Police Department’s Facebook page, the department says “officers located items in plain view that verified the possibility of lewd conduct described by students.”
Hutchings was arrested Saturday night. He has since been charged with one count of public indecency, a class four felony. His bond is set at $50,000.
