ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - The prescription drug take back program operated by the nonprofit group Missouri Prescription Pill and Drug Disposal is expanding.

The program started with collection boxes at four St. Louis County Police stations, but has now added boxes at Ballwin, Florissant, Sunset Hills, Webster Groves, and Olivette Police Departments. See a complete list HERE.

The service is free and anonymous. It provides an environmentally responsible means to dispose of unneeded prescription and over the counter medicines.

The next National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
