Police: Man Shoots Friend in Butt Outside Soulard Bar

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – A man is in custody after allegedly shooting his friend after a late Wednesday night disturbance at a Soulard bar.

According to police the shooter and his two friends were in Sonny’s at Geyer and Menard when they were ordered to get out. Two of the three left peacefully but the third stayed inside to argue.

When that man and a staff member came out the shooter pulled his handgun and started firing off some rounds. One shot hit one of his friends in the buttocks.

The shooter left and wound up at his girlfriend’s house in the 6400 block of Colletta, off I-44 in the Clifton Heights neighborhood.

There, he went into the backyard and starting firing more shots. He was arrested.

His friend’s in stable condition.
