Fozzie’s Sandwich Emporium Unveils ‘Wacha Wacha’ Milkshake

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A local sandwich shop is paying tribute to St. Louis Cardinals rookie pitcher Michael Wacha by naming a milkshake after him.

You can find the “Wacha Wacha” milkshake at Fozzie’s Sandwich Emporium on Big Bend Boulevard near Interstate 64.

Manager Lauren Heidotten says that in the spirit of a classic baseball snack, the shake has Cracker Jacks, caramel, and white chocolate chunks.

“It’s really popular, especially in the last couple days. A lot of people have been coming in for it,” she said.

The drink first went on sale last Thursday. Wacha himself came in and gave it a try, telling the Fozzie’s crew that he thought it was pretty tasty.

“Yeah, he came in on Saturday and had it. It was pretty cool,” Heidotten added.
