Suspect Charged in St. Charles Robbery

ST. CHARLES, MO (KMOX) – A 24 year old Wisconsin man is being held in the St. Charles jail for Tuesday’s robbery of a woman who’d just left a gas station.

Police say the victim was in the station, in the 200 block of North Main Street, to buy a pack of cigarettes. Police say a man in line with her later grabbed her purse, threw her to the ground and took her wallet.

The suspect has been identified as 24 year old Darval Lewis from Madison Wisconsin. He is charged with Second Degree Robbery and is held on 50-thousand dollars cash only bond.
