Tornadoes Hit in Missouri and Illinois Halloween Night
St. Louis (KMOX) The National Weather Service has confirmed–there were tornadoes in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois on Halloween night.
An EF-1 tornado hit near Leopold Missouri in Bollinger County. Another EF-1 hit in Cape Girardeau County. That had winds up to 105 mph. A separate microburst clocked winds of 95 mph.
A weak EF-0 tornado with peak winds up to 80 mph hit in East Cape Girardeau Illinois.
The strongest tornado-an EF-2 with winds up to 115 mph-hit near Baker Missouri in Stoddard County.
Some damage was reported to trees and buildings-but–no injuries.
