The Blues got a big win over the Flames last night to open up a five game homestand, but I wanted to get away from the game to share a couple of conversations I had during morning skate on Thursday with Adam Cracknell and Kevin Shattenkirk.

I asked both guys about playing in Montreal, and getting out to play in other great hockey cities. For Cracknell, it was his first time to play in Montreal.

Shattenkirk has played in the Canadiens’ building a few times now, but still has a few arenas on his NHL bucket list.

You’ll hear portions of these conversations on our Blues broadcasts during the “Know Your Blues” segment in the first intermissions, but I still wanted to post them in their entirety so everyone could enjoy them.

Sometimes it’s nice to get away from x’s and o’s and get a different side of the game and little bit of the guys’ personalities and experiences.

Enjoy!
