ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The St. Louis Bomb and Arson Unit calls a Friday afternoon fire at a north St. Louis County apartment complex suspicious.

The fire broke out around four p.m. at a complex in the 3500 block of Sugarcrest Drive, near I-270 and New Halls Ferry Road. Firefighters say it started on a patio, then spread into at least five units. Firefighters were called in from nine departments to battle the blaze.

No injuries were reported.
