Two St. Louisans Killed In Mississippi Crash

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Two people died Saturday after a wreck on Mississippi Highway 7 near University Avenue in Oxford.
Oxford police say the accident occurred at 4:45 a.m. when the vehicle overturned. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis. Another passenger remains at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.
Oxford Police Maj. James Owens says the victims have been identified as 20-year-old Christopher J. Grimaud of St. Louis and 18-year-old Kevin J. Eagan of St. Charles, Mo. Authorities say both were students at the University of Mississippi. Grimaud was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. Eagan graduated from CBC
Owens says both were pronounced dead at the scene around 5 a.m. Two other University of Mississippi students-Arthur Lueking and James Conners-both from the St. Louis area-were also injured in the crash. The condition of both is not known at this time.
Authorities say the accident is under investigation.
