Protesters at Wendy’s Seek Improvements for Farm Workers

St. Louis (KMOX) A protest was held Saturday–organized by local members of the Interfaith Committee on Latin America. Their target ? Wendy’s Restaurants.

The protesters gathered at the Wendy’s on Hampton Avenue. They’re calling on the restaurant chain to support human rights in its tomato supply chain by joining the Fair Food Program. Of the top 5 fast food corporations in the country-Wendy’s is the only one that does not belong.

The action on Hampton was part of a series of protests in dozens of cities nationwide this week.
