Water Boil Order Lifted in North St. Louis County

Greg Branson

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The water boil order for a section of north St. Louis County has been lifted.

The boil order issued Thursday followed a water line break that forced the closing of the UMSL campuses Thursday, and kept Normandy students out of school Thursday and Friday.

Missouri American Water lifted the order Friday after tests showed the water is safe. Customers are urged to flush the internal plumbing in their homes or businesses by turning on a few faucets and letting the water run for a few minutes.
