WASHINGTON (KMOX) – A St. Louis circuit judge had his moment at the U.S. Supreme Court, this week.
Jusdge Jimmie Edwards received this year’s “William H. Rehnquist Award” from Chief Justice John Roberts at a ceremony in Washington DC.
Edwards was selected for his work in changing the lives of juveniles in the justice system. He is the founder of the Innovative Concept Academy in St. Louis.
The National Center for State Courts says the award– one of the nation’s highest judicial honors — is presented annually to a state court judge who exemplifies the highest level of judicial excellence, integrity, fairness and professional ethics.
