EUREKA, Mo. (KMOX) – The FBI is searching for a man who attempted to rob a Eureka bank Monday afternoon.

Police say the suspect entered the U.S. Bank inside the Schnucks on East 5th Street around 4:20 p.m. He passed a note to the teller, which indicated he had a weapon, but ran off before receiving any money.

He is described as a man in his mid to late 20s, approximately 5’8a” to 6’0″ with a medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket over a grey hoodie, a red-billed baseball cap, and white-rimmed mirrored sunglasses during the time of the robbery.
