ST. PETERS, Mo. (KMOX) –  Police have arrested a man in connection with the weekend hold-up of a U.S. Bank inside the Schnucks supermarket on Mid Rivers Mall Drive.

33-year-old Earl Pitts of St. Peters is accused of walking up to a teller Saturday and handing her a note saying he had a gun, although none was displayed.

He fled on foot after receiving an undetermined amount of cash.

Pitt is being held in the St. Charles County Jail on $150,000 bond for 1st degree robery.

Charges are also being sought against him in connection with another bank robbery that occurred in late August.
