FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOX) – Three teens used a pellet gun to carjack a woman and her 7-year-old son Tuesday night, then fled police and crashed into a ditch, Fairview Heights police said.
The boys one 13 and two 15 years old ran off, but were arrested. No one was injured.
Police said one of the 15-year-old suspects was involved in a robbery at Moody Park on Oct. 11. He was charged in juvenile court for that incident with robbery and mob action.
At the time of the Fairview Heights carjacking the juvenile was supposed to be on home confinement.
