Black Jack Man Sentenced to Life in Prison For Killing Stepfather

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A Black Jack man who shot his stepfather three times has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Cedric Anderson was sentenced this morning for the November, 2010 killing of David Foote which occurred in front of Anderson’s preteen daughter and Foote’s wife.

Police say it happened after Anderson and Foote got into an argument in the kitchen of the home they shared in the 13000 block of Northview Heights Court.

After being shot once, Foote ran. Anderson then shot him twice more in the back.

Anderson was given life for first-degree murder plus 25 years for armed criminal action.
