ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Planning continues for the St. Louis region’s largest alcohol-free New Year’s Eve party.

First Night spokeswoman Michelle Stevens invites families to come down to Grand Center, “We’ll have over sixty performances going on by thirty artists in twelve different venues. You’re guaranteed to find something that’ll excite you and your family.”

Stevens says there’ll be dance acts, musical acts, and a whole section for kids at the Busch Student Center on the St. Louis University campus.

First Night’s theme this year is “Extreme 14.”

Stevens says one of the special demonstrations will be extreme ice carving, “You’ll have ice flying
& it’ll be exciting to see the sculptures develop right before your eyes. It’s very interactive.”

A fireworks display is planned at midnight.

Performance times, locations, and places to buy entry buttons can be found by clicking here.

There’s no charge for outdoor entertainment. The purchase of a button allows you to access the inside attractions.
