Extreme Cold/Snow Causes Problems for MetroLink

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Extreme cold is also affecting the MetroLink system and causing serious delays Monday morning. Below is a list of problem areas:

  • MetroBus is shuttling passengers between College Station and Shiloh-Scott Station.
  • MetroBus is also shuttling passengers between Shrewsbury and Sunnen Stations. UPDATE: This shuttle has been cancelled, however rider can still expect some delays in this area.
  • MetroBus and Metro Call-A-Ride will operate based on road conditions. Metro is putting every resource on the street to provide transit service.
  • St. Louis Downtown Airport remains closed. Crews are working hard to clear snow from runways and taxiways. The airport is owned and operated by the Bi-State Development Agency/Metro.

Metrolink riders who must be out today are encouraged to dress to be outdoors in sub-zero temperatures or consider alternate transportation.
