SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) – Illinois’ Republican Treasurer Dan Rutherford says his gubernatorial campaign raked in nearly $393,000 during the final three months of 2013.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports the Rutherford campaign now has about $1.37 million in funds as of Dec. 31. Rutherford of Chenoa is one of four Republicans seeking the party’s nomination in the March primary to face Gov. Pat Quinn or his opponent for the Democratic nomination, Tio Hardiman, in the fall.
Wednesday is the deadline for the campaigns to file quarterly campaign disclosure reports with the state. Rutherford’s campaign released its information Tuesday.
According to the Sun-Times, the largest contribution received by Rutherford in the final quarter of 2013 was $20,500 from the T-N-T Truck and Trailer Service, a Lincoln-based roadside assistance business.
