Ex-Lindenwood Wrestler with HIV Videotaped Dozens of Sexual Encounters
ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - A former Lindenwood University wrestler charged with recklessly exposing someone to HIV could face more charges after police found dozens of videos showing him having unprotected sex in his dorm room.
As of right now, investigators are trying to identify 31 potential victims.
“There are 31 individuals who we can not identify, what is not entirely clear to us is whether certain individuals are depicted in multiple videos,” said St. Charles County Prosecutor Tim Lohmar.
He added that “it is clear that there are numerous different individuals.”
In October, Michael “Tiger” Johnson, 22, of St. Charles was charged with exposing a sexual partner to HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. He was initially charged with one count of recklessly risking infection of another with HIV, but four more felony charges were later added.
Lohmar said of the victims investigators previously identified “none of them knew they were being video tapped.”
He is asking anyone who had been intimate with Michael Johnson to contact St. Charles Detective Bureau at 636-949-3330.
