Coca-Cola Closing Maryland Heights Plant

Greg Branson

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – More than 100 workers in St. Louis County will be losing their jobs when Coca-Cola shuts down its Maryland Heights plant in late March.

Maryland Heights Mayor Mike Moeller told the St. Louis Post Dispatch, he met with Coke officials on Tuesday and they told him it was a logistical and business decision, and had nothing to do with the city, county or state.

Moeller says company officials told him most of the workers will be offered jobs at the Coca Cola plants in St. Charles or near Warrenton.
