SWANSEA, Ill. (AP) - Investigators are investigating the death of a man found in his home in the southwestern Illinois village of Swansea.

The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis says 61-year-old David Daughtrey’s body was found Tuesday afternoon by officers checking on his well-being at a friend’s request.

Authorities aren’t saying how Daughtrey died. An autopsy was planned for Wednesday.

Authorities say they’re looking for a person of interest in the case, though as of Wednesday there have been no arrests or charges.
