Hit and Run Driver Sought

A pedestrian was killed Sunday night. His family is offering a $10,000 reward

vehicle Hit and Run Driver SoughtKIRKWOOD, MO (KMOX) – Kirkwood Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a hit and run driver who killed a pedestrian on Sunday night.

It happened in the 400 block of North Kirkwood Road, near a Walgreens drug store, around 11 P.M.

Police believe the vehicle is a two tone mini van, possibly a Ford Windstar, that may have damage to the front end, the windshield and possibly the hood.

Police have also released a surveillance camera photo of a man they think may have witnessed the hit and run. They stress that person is not a suspect but they’d like to talk to him.

The family of the victim is offering a $10,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
