#ThrowbackThursday: 2 Years Since Whitney Houston’s Death

Two years ago this week, the entertainment world lost singer Whitney Houston.

On February 13, 1993, Houston’s version of the Dolly Parton hit “I Will Always Love You” from the movie “The Bodyguard” celebrated it’s 13th week on top of Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles chart.

It was Kevin Kostner who brought a Linda Ronstadt version of the song to Houston to sing for the movie.

Whitney Houston performed at The Muny in St. Louis in 1986.
