Coaches Appreciate SLU’s Run More Than A.P. Voters

ST. LOUIS (KMOX)- It’s been nearly three months since St. Louis University lost a men’s basketball game.

On Monday, the 25-2 Billikens climbed to #8 in the USA Today coaches poll & remained #10 in the Associated Press Top 25 rankings.

SLU plays at home against Duquesne on Thursday.

In the A.P. rankings, Florida took over the top spot for the first time since 2007. Unbeaten Wichita State (29-0) of the Missouri Valley Conference jumped to 2nd. Those two are followed by Arizona, Syracuse, & Kansas.

Former MVC member Creighton is ranked 9th in the A.P. poll, despite having a 23-4 record.
