Study: Traffic Not So Bad in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Next time you’re sitting in traffic, tell yourself it could be a whole lot worse. A new study on traffic congestion is out and the St. Louis area fared pretty well.
It’s all about putting it into perspective. This new Traffic Scorecard compiled by the group INRIX finds Los Angeles has the worst gridlock in the nation with motorists spending on average 64 hours a year sitting in traffic tie ups.
Honolulu is second with 60 hours of time wasted. St. Louis is way down they’re number 55 on the list with an average of 8.1 hours wasted in traffic congestion. Kansas City has it even better #71 with just 4.3 hours of average traffic jam time a year.
