St. Louis-Area Man Accused of Rape after Party

Associated Press

HILLSBORO, Mo. (AP) – A St. Louis-area man is accused of sexually attacking a woman who authorities say he helped get home after she became intoxicated at a party.

Jefferson County prosecutors have charged 21-year-old Floyd Duncan Jr. of Imperial with rape.

Court documents allege Duncan was at an Arnold house party last week when he and another person helped the woman get to her home. Authorities allege that a witness later reported that Duncan returned to the woman’s home and assaulted her despite her imploring him to stop.

Duncan was later arrested after being found in a wooded area near the woman’s home.

Duncan remained jailed Thursday on $50,000 bond.

Online court records don’t show whether Duncan has an attorney.

Duncan is on probation for stealing and drug possession cases.
