ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOX) – The St. Charles County Sheriff continues to investigate the disappearance of a St. Peters woman who was last seen five days ago at the St. Charles Community College satellite campus in Dardenne Prairie.
Bahia Bisharat, 18, is a nursing student. Lt. David Tiefenbrunn says the case is wide open.
“We have to look at it from all avenues, to investigate the possibility of an abduction,” he says. “As of right now, we don’t have a whole lot of signs pointing to criminal activity. We also have to keep in mind that she is an adult, and can leave without being accountable to friends and relatives.”
Although there doesn’t appear to be any foul play in her disappearance, Tiefenbrunn says that it’s uncharacteristic of her to not come home. He says Bisharat had no cell phone, credit cards, or debit card—making it more challenging to track her whereabouts.
He says she’s been listed on the nationwide missing persons data base.
