Four Suspects Charged in Officer Involved Shooting Case

CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOX) – Four St. Louis men have now been charged in connection with a drug bust and officer involved shooting incident in University City on Tuesday.

The St. Louis County Prosecutor has charged Kelvin Dorries, Ahmad-Mosley-Hunter, Vernon Bruce and Travis Bradley.

St. Louis County undercover officers were conducting a drug operation. During the attempted arrests, suspect Kelvin Dorries got into a vehicle and allegedly tried to run over an officer who was trying to restrain another suspect.

Fearing for his life the detective fired shots and wounded Dorries. He was hospitalized then released into police custody.

Dorries faces assault and drug charges. The others face drug charges.

The incident happened in the 6800 block of Corbitt.
