Mizzou’s Frank Haith To Become Tulsa’s Head Coach

Mizzou Basketball Coach Frank Haith has left the Tigers and, according to CBS Sports, will become the head coach at Tulsa.

Gary Parrish writes on CBSSports.com:

Missouri’s Frank Haith has reached an agreement in principle to become Tulsa’s next head coach, a source told CBSSports.com on Thursday.

A formal announcement is expected soon.

His article continues:

Sources told CBSSports.com that Tulsa is willing to pay in excess of $1 million for Haith, and that he’s seriously considering going because he knows one more bad season at Missouri could be his last.

Tulsa World sports writer John E. Hoover tweeted:

Haith spent three season with Mizzou and ended his stint with the team by missing this year’s NCAA Tournament.
