ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The Humane Society’s Animal Cruelty Task Force is looking for the owner of a puppy found wandering around in North St. Louis with a bungee cord wrapped tightly around his neck.
“The dog’s face was grotesquely swollen. We were concerned about whether he could swallow.” said spokesperson Jeane Jae.
Jae said the approximately five month old puppy they’ve named Wilson, because his head was a big as a soccer ball, is expected to make a full recovery.
He was found by a homeowner at Switzer and Riverview, just wandering the neighborhood.
