ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - It’s unwelcome news for St. Louis Blues fans and those who remember #74’s heroics for Team USA in the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Blues forward T.J. Oshie was eliminated from contention, Monday, in the online voting for EA Sports NHL ’15 video game cover.

Boston’s Patrice Bergeron got past Oshie in the semifinals and will face Montreal’s P.K. Subban in the finals.

The Blues official Twitter site had this message on Monday: “Thanks to everyone who voted for @Osh74 for the NHL 15 cover. He didn’t reach the finals, but your support was incredible!”
