ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The Blues added depth to their front line on Wednesday, announcing the signing of Swedish Hockey League forward Joakim Lindstrom to a one-year contract.

The 30-year-old  spent the past two seasons with Skelleftea AIK. He posted 63 points (23 goals, 40 assists, 72 penalty minutes) in 55 games.

A 2nd round pick by Columbus in 2002, the six-foot, 203 pound Lindstrom has appeared in 5 NHL season, with teams in Columbus, Phoenix, and Colorado.

The Sweden native has recorded 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists) & 46 penalty minutes) in 97 career games.
