Storms Roll Through But This Time No Tornado

Parts of St. Charles County took a hit in a heavy thunderstorm that arrived Sunday afternoon.

The weather service says there were no reports of tornadoes.

Since it was a slow-moving thunderstorm, it dropped just over two inches of rain as it hovered over O’Fallon, Missouri. That, the weather service says, meant some flash flooding around the county.

Southern St. Louis County took some street flooding Sunday morning as a thunderstorm rumbled through.

Sunday night’s target was north of St. Louis with storms but, again, no tornado in Pike County near Louisiana, Missouri.

Only the Pike County storm kept its vigor as it crossed the Mississippi.
