FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOX) – Federal proseuctors in the Metro-East say a Michigan man used information supplied by his unknowing girlfriend to rob the Highland, Ill. bank where she worked.

The motive? To get cash to buy her an engagement ring.

The date of the robbery? This past Valentine’s Day.

Twenty-two-year-old Ramsey Fakhouri of Troy, Michigan was sentenced this week to 78 months in prison, plus three years of supervised release.
