McCarver first came to St. Louis in 1959 as a 17-year-old prospect and has maintained local ties throughout his playing and broadcasting careers.

There are more than 140 stars on the St. Louis Walk of Fame.

McCarver’s ceremony will be at 6144 Delmar, across from the Moonrise Hotel.
