ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay reacted to St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke’s relocation application, saying it’s mostly inaccurate.
The application says San Diego and Oakland have stronger markets than St. Louis. To that, Slay told KMOX’s Mark Reardon, “I talked directly with Eric Grubman at the NFL. He told me, in our discussion, that they love St. Louis as a market for the NFL. They do not want the Rams to leave.”
And Slay says, “I think Stan Kroenke is concerned about his chances to move this team to L.A., and he’s throwing everything up against the wall to see if it sticks.”
