Mizzou Basketball Team Hosting Rally For Girl With Cancer

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMOX) – When Mizzou Men’s Basketball plays Tennessee Saturday afternoon at Mizzou arena, fans will be offered free general admission with a cash donation to “Rally For Rhyan.”

The special event was organized to raise awareness for people with pediatric cancer in support of Rhyan Loos, a five-year-old girl who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in October.

Rhyan’s father is Mizzou Assistant Coach Brad Loos.

“There’s a lot of bad in this world, just turn on the nightly news and you’ll see it,” Loos says. “Throughout this process, with the love and support we’ve received, we’ve learned there’s a lot more good and there are a lot of people out there that have huge hearts. People have just been amazing to us.”
