A news meteorologist was told to put on a sweater on live TV because the station was receiving emails from viewers who thought her dress was inappropriate.
Liberté Chan, of KTLA-5 in Los Angeles, wore a black cocktail dress for her weather report Saturday morning when the station started receiving emails.
Someone was then seen reaching in from off-camera to hand Chan a sweater in the middle of her report.
People then started emailing the station because they were offended by that gesture, and felt like she was being shamed on live TV.
“Apparently, some viewers think my dress is too revealing,” Chan writes on her Facebook page.
