Fenton Wastewater Treatment Plant Damaged After Flooding

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Lance LeComb of MSD says they should have an update by Friday on the extent of damage at the Fenton Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The plant’s ultraviolet treatment building was flooded Monday morning after rainfall. LeComb said the building still has to dry out before officials can assess the damage.

The public is advised to avoid contact with the Meramec River from Fenton to the Mississippi River.

Water services to area homes and businesses will not be interrupted.
