RIO DE JANEIRO (KMOX/AP) – It’s a bronze medal for Mizzou wrestler J’den Cox.

Cox defeated Reineris Salas Perez of Cuba on Saturday in the Rio Olympics third-place match for the 86 kg weight class.

He is reportedly the 7th University of Missouri athlete to win an Olympic medal and the first since 2008.
