Outfielder Hits Grand Slam Into His Own Windshield

SAUGET, Ill. (KMOX) – It is all fun and games until you smash your own windshield.

Gateway Grizzlies outfielder Brandon Thomas crushed a ball over the left field wall during a game against the Joliet Slammers. As he rounded the bases, the ball flew into a car’s windshield in the parking lot.

Thomas later found out that the his grand slam smashed the window of his own pickup truck. Thomas tweeted that his fractured windshield is “Definitely worth it!!”

The Grizzlies beat the Joliet Slammers 17-to-6 with a total of five home runs.
