MoDOT Seeks Volunteers for St. Louis Roadway Study

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – There’s an opportunity for volunteers to make a little extra pocket cash while helping MoDOT determine the safety of St. Louis-area roadways.

The transportation agency’s teaming up with Applied Research Associates for a highway study, according to MoDOT Assistant District Engineer Tom Blair.

“They want to spend some time with them [volunteers] and give them some information about the pavement markings that we use and what they like or dislike,” Blair says.

They are looking for drivers with a valid driver’s license, between the ages of 18 and 30 or over 60, who are regular drivers on area roadways.

Blair says it will take about two hours and everyone who takes part will be paid $30.

All personal information and data will be kept confidential.
