ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The Better Business Bureau is warning St. Louis residents who receive an offer in the mail for burial insurance policies.
A company in Marietta, Georgia is sending offers in the mail saying receivers qualify for a benefit that will pay 100 percent of all funeral expenses up to $35,000.
But the BBB says these mailers are misleading because it does not disclose that information the company collects will be sold to insurance sales agencies.
