Former SLPS Principal Charged with Stealing Money from District

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A former St. Louis Public School principal whose pregnant girlfriend was murdered earlier this year is charged — in an unrelated case — with stealing money from the district.

Cornelius Green was the principal of the Carr Lane Visual and Performing Arts Middle School, where he’s accused taking cash from a school field trip fund.

In May, Green’s childhood friend was charged in the shooting death of Jocelyn Peters, a third-grade teacher in the city public school district.

According to media reports, Peters was pregnant with Green’s child.
