MEHLVILLE, Mo. (KMOX) – Support and donations continue to roll in to support injured Ballwin Police Officer Mike Flamion, who was paralyzed after being shot during a traffic stop.
KMOX’s Charlie Brennan emceed the “Mike Flamion Benefit Night” at Royale Orleans in Mehlville, Friday night.
Brennan says the banquet center workers donated their time. Owner Forrest Miller and wife Donna donated food and the room. Workers put together 127 silent auction items.
Proceeds from the event will go to help retrofit Officer Flamion’s home to accommodate his needs. Organizer Jen Mann tells KMOX nearly $30,000 had been raised as of Saturday morning, but she expects more money still to come.
