By Brian Feldman, KMOX News

Four people are dead after their car collided with a train in southeast Missouri Friday afternoon.

Missouri State Highway Patrol says the vehicle drove *into the path* of the Union Pacific train. It happened on a county road about a mile south of Dexter.

Those pronounced deceased: one-year old Weston Crider, 20-year old Hailey Laws, 19-year old Maura Peters…and an infant, Bryson Umfleet.

A fifth person in the car was seriously injured.

You forgot in your hint of suicide BS article this beach whale humped railroad crossing with 70 mph train traffic had no crossing signals to give warning. And the reason for no crossing signals is the railroads are thieves overcharging our $7 million a year safety budget at least twice too much for every project. Plus most the projects are BS to help waste the $7 million a year so few new signals ever happen. PLUS we pay the railroads to steal our crossing signals/electronics/sheds on closed/reworked signals.
