Firefighter Injured Sunday Afternoon in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS/FOX PARK (KMOX) — A firefighter with the city of St. Louis is injured after responding to a call at the 2700 block of Armand Place Sunday afternoon.

The fire department tweeted EMS was requested and the individual was transported urgently to an area hospital.

The firefighter is in stable condition.

A subsequent tweet intimates the fire was caused by a grill.

The St. Louis Fire Department said the fire took place on the second floor of an occupied dwelling. Multiple lines were in operation before the 1st alarm blaze was put out. All occupants were accounted for.
