COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) – (UPDATE 10:49 a.m.) The man found in a field by the Collinsville ketchup water tower has been identified as 27-year-old Zachary Schellenberg.
Police say there’s no sign of foul play, and the autopsy did not show any signs of trauma. Because of this, the results are inconclusive pending toxicology results, according to police.
Detectives from the Collinsville Police Department are continuing to investigate the death.

The Collinsville Police Department was notified of the discovery of a dead body in an open field about 9:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of South Morrison in Collinsville.
An initial investigation determined the body to be that of a white male, approximately 20 to 30 years old.
Illinois State Police crime scene investigators were called, and are currently assisting with the investigation.
The cause of death has not yet been determined.
