FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOX) – Police are on the lookout for a man who held up a Huck’s convenience store in Fairview Heights early Thursday morning, armed with a gun.
He walked into the Huck’s, 1029 Lincoln Highway at Old Collinsville Road, at 3:14, displayed a dark-colored revolver, and ordered the clerk to empty out the cash drawer.
He reportedly held the gun at the victim’s hip while directing him to hand over all of the money.
After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect ran toward an adjacent neighborhood, and the clerk was not injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet fall in his early 20s, wearing a black sweatshirt with a gray hood, black pants with blue boxers underneath, white tennis shoes and black gloves.
He was also wearing a red bandana over his face.
